I'm sorry for not updating this blog. The truth is I don't have much to post but soon I will. The Angels the last few years have held Fiesta Angels the Saturday before Mother's Day. The Angels were away during Mother's Day, so they didn't have at that time.
I got an e-mail that stated they are going to hold it Saturday June 8th. The funny thing is I bought a ticket before they announced it. Anyway, it is open to the public as it is being held in the parking lot at Angels Stadium.
Here's a copy of the e-mail:
Join us for Fiesta Angels on Saturday, June 8th from 2:00 p.m.
to 6:00 p.m. This free pre-game event will feature entertainment for the whole
family including Mariachi bands, food, Angels merchandise and special guest
appearances from some of your favorite Angels players and broadcasters. Fiesta
Angels will take place in the State College parking lot across from Gate 2. For
more information on Fiesta Angels presented by State Farm and Coca Cola, visit angels.com/fiesta.
Highlights include:
- Scheduled appearances by select Angels players, coaches
and Strike Force members (Player appearances are subject to change and
will be announced the day of the event).
- Promotional giveaways by Angels Radio AM830
- Angels Sponsor booths and giveaways
- Complimentary food sampling
- Discounted Angels and game used merchandise sale
- Angels sales representatives on hand to discuss
ticketing options for the 2019 season
Here's my post about it from two years ago, which I hastly combine with another sales event.
If you read this blog, you know that I own a lot of New Era caps. They're the producers of the on field caps for Major League Baseball. I think they make quality products.
A couple of weeks ago, the Alliance of American Football ceased to exist. I was going to go the last home game of the San Diego Fleet but that can't happen now. Dick's Sporting Goods has AAF merchandise on clearance. Go to their site and search for:
- Arizona Hotshots
- Atlanta Legends
- Birmingham Iron
- Memphis Express
- Orlando Apollos
- Salt Lake Stallions
- San Antonio Commanders
- San Diego Fleet
I'll just wait for Ross/Marshalls/Burlington to get AAF gear.
Honestly couldn't think of a good title for this post.
On the previous post on this blog,
I'm back. I've been really busy, plus I haven't bought anything that's exciting post about.
There's a big game this Sunday between the Rams and Patriots. I'm trying to get ready for it.
I was supposed to do this yesterday but I wasn't feeling well.
I hastily put together this team based on the jerseys I owned. I learned a lot doing this exercise.
