The Montreal Expos Were Back For One Night Only

On July 8th, the Washington Nationals donned throwback Montreal Expos uniforms. The Expos were founded about fifty years ago and relocated to Washington in 2005. This is first time the Nationals have worn Expos uniforms. The Nationals put them up for auction. As of right now, Jonny Venters uniform is the least expensive at $275. It's a little bit too pricey for me and I'm sure it will clear over $300. You can view them here.

Record Breaking Babe Ruth Jersey

Recently a Babe Ruth jersey from 1928-1930 was sold for $5.6 million! It's the most expensive piece of sports memorabilia in history

I hope it's authentic and not a fake.

Maybe I should buy an authentic Mike Trout jersey. It might be worth a lot someday.

I'm going to be busy next week, so there might not be a post next week.

I found a few things up for auction that were interesting.

A Slight Rant

The Milwaukee Brewers auctioned off their Fourth of July jerseys last week. Mike Zagurski's wasn't included with them. Kind of strange but maybe it will listed later.

This upsets me.

Hurricane Harvey Auctions

Two teams that I know of right now are having auctions with the proceeds going towards the American Red Cross and Hurricane Harvey relief efforts.

The LA Rams are auctioning two experiences right now for their home opener. You can bid on a suite and/or get on field passes.

The Minnesota Twins are auctioning off cleats.

If I hear about any other teams auctioning off experiences or items, I'll post it.
If you're interested in donating directly to a charity, I found this article from Texas Monthly very helpful.

Cubs World Series Shirt

I went to a Padres game last week. After the game was over, I decided to head to Ross near Petco Park. I thought I would find Padres', Dodgers', or some other teams' merchandise.
