- Places like Ross, Burlington Coat Factory, TJ Maxx, and other discount stores sell officially licensed clothes. If you go to their Active Wear section, you can find shirts, jerseys, and hats. The selection of items varies per store and day you shop. I have been very lucky in the items I have found over years.
- Goodwill and other charities often have used licensed clothing in their stores. I have donated old jerseys and shirts to Goodwill in the past.
- If you are willing to haggle, local swap meets have vendors that sell licensed gear. I bought a Reggie Bush Saints jersey in New Orleans for $40 by negotiating at a swap meet.
- The NBA, NHL, MLB, and NFL have clearance sections on their websites. I have links to them under the Links section.
- Dick's Sporting Goods and other brick and mortar retailers also have clearance racks where you can save money.
- Many teams have sales before the season starts. If you have Twitter or Facebook, they'll promote it on there. You can also check their websites. Many teams have sales during FanFest such as the Dodgers, Padres, and Chargers. The Angels call theirs Fiesta Angels and it during the season. During these events, there are deep discounts on licensed goods.
