My Seats

Just before the year ended, I made a brief trip to San Diego. During the pandemic, Jack Murphy/Qualcomm/SDCCU Stadium was being torn down piece by piece. People from San Diego that I follow on Twitter were posting pics of the old stadium being reduced to rubble.

I wanted to see it one last time.

Over the last few months, SDCCU/Qualcomm/Jack Murphy Stadium has be gradually disassembled. San Diego State is building a new stadium at the site along with support buildings for the university.

End of the Year Top Five Jerseys I Bought

Today is the annual list of jerseys I bought throughout the year. This list was hastily made and completely arbitrary. Thanks for your support through the last two years.  I've got unexciting stuff to post next week, plus Padres FanFest is coming soon next year; January 13th to be exact, so I'll have a lot to post then.

The Living Ruins of SDCCU Stadium

But one day, they left without a trace. I heard rumors about another team in San Diego that played football in the ruins of the previous team's stadium. I had to investigate.
